Mwaba Mwila Adventures Named Official Partner for the Fit Relay
Adventure tourism leader joins Zambia’s premier corporate relay to promote domestic tourism and youth outdoors
LUSAKA, Zambia – June 29, 2026 – Mwaba Mwila Adventures was unveiled as an Official Partner of the Fit Relay at a launch event held at Le Elementos Hotel in Lusaka.
The Fit Relay, set for 22 August 2026 at Nkwashi, Leopards Hill, brought corporate teams together for the official launch of its cycle, run, and paddle relay across the Nkwashi hills, trails, and dam.
Mwaba Mwila Adventures, a Zambian-owned adventure tourism company, partnered with the Fit Relay to champion domestic adventure tourism and outdoor participation.

Impacting communities, one adventure at a time,” said Mwaba Mwila, Founder and CEO of Mwaba Mwila Adventures. “The Fit Relay is not just a race. It is a showcase for one of Lusaka’s most scenic, underused natural assets. Our presence here is a direct match between what this event celebrates, and what we do every day.”
Mwaba Mwila Adventures was recently recognised as Best Domestic Tourism Promoters at the inaugural Tourism Excellence Awards.
The company works with both private and public schools across Zambia, running outdoor programmes from Kanjala Hill in Chipata, to the Kifuba Rock Engravings in Solwezi, from Kaili Hill in Batoka to the banks of the Zambezi River in Senanga. In Lusaka, its programmes include Duke of Edinburgh Award Adventurous Journeys, Future Leaders Adventure Camps for ages 5 to 17, and Survival Skills Days at Nkwashi Estate.
“Zambia’s outdoor spaces are an economic asset, not just scenery,” said Mwila. “Events like the Fit Relay grow a domestic adventure economy. The most meaningful partnerships are not transactions. They are expressions of shared belief.”
