Before embarking on your adventure with Mwaba Mwila Adventures, please ensure you have:
Active medical insurance: This is crucial in case of an emergency.
On our hikes, a qualified first aider will be present to provide immediate assistance. In the unlikely event of a more severe incident requiring evacuation, please note that:
Evacuation logistics and costs are your responsibility. We will assist in facilitating the process, but you will be responsible for organising and covering any further treatment expenses.
Mobile Signal
Please note that the mobile signal service is patchy throughout the National Park.
Plan accordingly and inform your loved ones about the limited signal availability during your adventure.

Note for Self-Drive Option: Lunch is not included on travel days.

Packing
For a comfortable and enjoyable hiking experience, please pack your belongings in two separate bags:
Base Camp Bag: Pack personal belongings for your stay at Base Camp, including clothing, toiletries, and other personal items.
Day Bag: Pack essentials for the day’s activities, such as snacks, water, and sunscreen.
CAMPING
& EQUIPMENT
Please note that our campsite is a “wild camping” experience, offering a unique and immersive connection with nature. The campsite has the following amenities:
- Flushing toilets and bucket showers (hot water for showers is available upon request)
- Tent, mattresses and sleeping bags provided for each camper
Please be prepared for a rustic experience with no running water or electricity.

Note:
For those on the bus, please be at Manda Hill Puma filling station by 4:30. The start time is at 5:00 sharp!
For those on self-drive, we will meet at Mirriams Eco Cafe in Mkushi at 11:30 hours.
Please know that upon arrival, we will all be required to sign an indemnity form and photo release.
