Before embarking on your adventure with Mwaba Mwila Adventures, please ensure you have:
Active medical insurance is crucial in the event of an emergency.
On our hikes, a qualified first aider will be present to provide immediate assistance. In the unlikely event of a more severe incident requiring evacuation, please note that:
Evacuation logistics and costs are your responsibility. We will assist in facilitating the process, but you must organise and cover further treatment expenses.

Mobile Signal

Please note that the mobile signal will be patchy, switching on and off throughout the duration of the camp, so plan accordingly and inform your loved ones about the limited connectivity

Packing

For a comfortable and enjoyable hiking experience, please pack your belongings in two separate bags:

Base Camp Bag: Pack personal belongings for your stay at Base Camp, including clothing, toiletries, and other personal items.

Day Bag: Pack essentials for the day’s hike, such as snacks, water, and sunscreen.

CAMPING
& EQUIPMENT

You’ll be camping, immersing yourself in nature with basic amenities: tents and mattresses will be provided, and you’ll have access to shared facilities with toilets and warm wood-boiler heated showers, perfect for reconnecting with the great outdoors!

Note:

For those on the bus, please arrive at Manda Hill Puma filling station by 4:30. The start time is 5:00 sharp!

For those on self-drive, we will meet at Mirriams Eco Cafe in Mkushi at 11:30 hours.

Please know that upon arrival, we will all be required to sign an indemnity form and photo release.
